Founder
The Honda Foundation was established in December 27, 1977 by donations from the founder of Honda Motor Company, Soichiro Honda, and his younger brother, Benjiro.
Presidents
Our first president was Mr. Takeso Shimoda who had been Japan's ambassador to Belgium. The second president was Mr. Hiromori Kawashima, the former Commissioner of the Nippon Professional Baseball. Mr. Hiroto Ishida, President Emeritus, Kanazawa Gakuin University, is the current president.
