Honda YES Award in Vietnam

Objective

Facilitate fostering and producing young, prospective leaders in technology and engineering science to accelerate Vietnam’s robust development in S&T fields in commemoration of the centennial of The Dong Du movement led by Phan Boi Chau.

Program Outline

Stage One: YES Award

Recognize very best undergraduate students selected from the Vietnamese affiliated universities with a prize grant worth US$ 3,000 and a motorcycle as the extra prize. Up to ten awardees will be chosen, all of whom will be eligible for receiving the YES Award Plus honor if they fulfill the conditions specified below.


Stage Two: YES Award Plus

All the YES Award awardees may claim to receive a non-restricted scholarship fund worth US$ 10,000 if they are admitted to, and actually go to, postgraduate (master or doctoral) study in the designated Japanese universities, within five years they have received the YES Award.
