Honda Prize 2026 goes to Professor Graeme M. Clark, an Australian physician and neuroscientist and Professor Emeritus at the University of Melbourne, and Dr. Ingeborg Hochmair, an Austrian electrical engineer and co-founder and CEO of MED-EL, for their respective pioneering research and development of the multichannel cochlear implant, contributions to its clinical application, and leadership in its worldwide adoption.
