Japan is a beautiful and sophisticated country. On arriving in Japan, my first impression of the people there was wonderful. I found them helping and kind. Over my period of stay at Japan, I had the opportunity to visit some places around Japan, such as Tokyo, Fukuoka, Okinawa, Osaka etc. which further exposed me to the cultural aspects of this country.
I had some very interesting and adventurous moments during my stay. We visited and had an awesome holiday at Universal Studios, Osaka, had the chance to experience the thrill of Scuba Diving in Okinawa, and also visited the much acclaimed shrines of Kyoto. The moments of my stay at Japan are and will be a treasure in my life.
Coming to the research front, I was pleased to find that I had indeed successfully chosen the correct place for my internship. The professor was knowledgeable and my fellow lab mates were kind, helpful and friendly. They supported and helped me in my project. I still fondly remember the cards game we played every Friday (One who lost had to clean the Lab!!), the one time we went to a Baseball match at Fukuoka Dome and also the last dinner party hosted by my professor at a purely Japanese style restaurant.
In and all, I had an awesome and enthralling stay at Japan. I am only too eager to revisit the country in the future if I come across such a chance to do so.
