Host institution/organization in Japan:
Prof. Shigeo Wada
Biomechanics Group, Division of Bioengineering, Department of Mechanical Science and Bioengineering,
Graduate School of Engineering Science, Osaka University
Jun 2022-Aug 2022

It has been a really fruitful and memorable time in Japan for me. I have learned many things about modeling and simulation in biomechanical applications at Prof. Wada's lab at Osaka University. My sensei and lab mates are all very supportive and willing to help if I have some problems during my work.
I was able to experience beautiful Japanese culture. I love how the modern technology and traditional values go hand in hand here in Japan. And I love Japanese cuisine! I tried Natto and actually enjoy it ^^
I have also got chance to travel to some places to see how beautiful Japan is. I travelled to Kyoto, Kobe, Tokyo, and even climb Mount Fuji! I work on weekdays and travel every weekend, being as productive as possible. Japan has a well-structured public transportation system so I can get to almost anywhere by subway or monorail or train.
I have also made some good friends, both Japanese and internal students, and learn about their research topics. Everyone is very friendly, hard working, and really good students.
