SPACIANET JAPAN INC
Mar 2026 - July 2026
During my internship in Japan, I worked for Spacialnet Japan Inc. in the Digital Marketing Department. The company provides accommodation services for both local Japanese residents and international tourists. I was grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a company that connects cultures through tourism, one of the world's most dynamic industries.
My main responsibility was creating digital content for social media, particularly TikTok. I visited various accommodation properties to capture videos and photographs, which I later edited and published online. During my internship, I successfully produced 37 videos that helped promote the company's services and engage a wider audience.
Working both in the office and on-site gave me valuable insight into Japanese work culture. I experienced a professional environment that was highly efficient, disciplined, and detail-oriented. Beyond work, I embraced local life by commuting by train, enjoying Japanese convenience-store meals, and exploring local restaurants. These everyday experiences helped me better understand Japanese culture and lifestyle.
I chose to stay in a shared house, where I met both Japanese and international residents. Living in a multicultural environment allowed me to build meaningful friendships and broaden my global perspective.
In my free time, I explored cities such as Kyoto, Kanazawa, and Fukui. I enjoyed discovering new cultures, foods, and traditions while participating in activities such as hiking, rafting, visiting temples, and praying at shrines. These experiences deepened my appreciation for Japan's rich cultural heritage and natural beauty.
This internship provided more than professional development. It strengthened my self-confidence, resilience, humility, and sense of purpose. As a Cambodian aspiring to create positive impact, I gained a clearer vision of how local roots can connect with global opportunities. My long-term mission is to promote sustainable education in food, travel, and well-being, helping create healthier communities and bringing more smiles to people's lives.
