My impression on Japan is a modern society where people commonly use the most advanced technologies in daily life. My major interest is to study automatic learning of transformation rules to improve the quality of statistic models applied in natural language processing (NLP). Despite its great potential for practical, automatic translation and summarization, the NLP technology is still imperfect and I intend to research into semantic parsing at a PhD course. As my personal principle, I try to be always aware of what I should do right now, and do it to realize my dreams in the future.
