Japan has a unique blend of technology and culture. There are so many and such beautiful sights to see that I spent every weekend roaming about Tokyo and there were still a whole bunch of places I didn't get the opportunity to visit. Another thing about my stay that I'm sure I won't forget is the cordial and respectful nature with which everyone treated me. I had thought that since I didn't know Japanese, I would feel like an outcast, but I was completely mistaken. People seemed to go out of their way to help me out in any which way they could. I urge every YES awardee to seriously consider this wonderful opportunity of experiencing Japan that Honda Foundation provides them!
