I would like to express my sincere thanks to Honda Foundation and my host professor, Prof. Hiroyuki Nakazumi at the Osaka Prefecture University for offering me a chance to experience life in Japan. Although the internship was only three-month long, I still felt like home thanks to the hospitality of my lab and the friendliness of Japanese people in general.
I had a precious opportunity to work on a new scientific problem, come to see a new part of the world, learn a new language, make new friends, and experience a life that is very much different from what I had in Vietnam. After this internship, I have been more knowledgeable, independent and mature, and have become a better version of myself. No matter where I go, I will forever treasure the experiences I had in Japan.
