Japan, it was my first foreign trip and was a wonderful experience that taught me a lot. Right from the day I landed till the day my flight took off I was overwhelmed by the warmth and hospitality of the Japanese people. The Japanese people are workaholic, ambitious, helpful and jovial. They sometimes even go out of their skin to help out people. They are very hard working people who party and enjoy even harder. In Japan you can never get bored, there is something for every one’s interest. The experiences that I had during the course of stay will be engraved in my memory forever.
The state of the art research laboratories and interesting projects inspired me to work harder in achieving my goal. Also I was supported by the help of all the lab members without which, work won’t be as smooth as it took place. I am totally indebted to all my fellow lab mates and the professor for such a rich learning experience. The lab culture in Japan is very refreshing and keeps you motivated to work ahead with your earnest zeal. Apart from being a pioneer in education and technology, Japan is also rich in culture, and I got a chance to have some experiences pertaining to same.
From visiting the ancient capital of Japan, Kyoto to living in Tokyo, city of sky scrapers I had myriad new experiences, some that I will never forget.; Travelling in the high speed Shinkansen, visiting ancient temples to having a skyline view of the city or enjoying the waves hitting your feet on the beach , to name a few. Also during the course of internship I managed to speak a few Japanese phrases, it is always fun learning a new language. Japan is a hybrid of its historically rich culture and pioneering, state of the art technology. I am eager to visit the country once again, just waiting for the opportunity to come by.
Arigato Japan for all the memories!
