Honda Y-E-S Award 2007 in Vietnam Award Ceremony Highlights

The Second Y-E-S Award Ceremony Celebrated 10 Awardees in Hanoi, Vietnam on November 27, 2007.

The awarding ceremony for the second Y-E-S Award in Vietnam was held at the Hanoi University of Science and Technology on November 27, 2007. Awardees are ten most brilliant students selected for their academic performance, an interview, and a written essay, from applicants from the four most prestigious science and technology universities in Vietnam.
The university’s auditorium was chosen as the venue so as many students as possible could witness this proud moment of their colleagues. The auditorium was filled with the guests including Vice Minister from Ministry of Science and Technology, university officials, and recipients’ families and school mates. As the award attracts a greater attention, more press and media came and interviewed the recipients. They replied with a smile, referring to their visions and dreams.

The Very First Y-E-S Award Plus

The very first Y-E-S Award Plus was awarded to Mr. Pham Quang Nhat Minh, a 2006 Y-E-S Award in Vietnam recipient. “As the first awardee of the Y-E-S Award Plus, I will try my best not only to improve myself but also to meet expectations from those who concern and support me” he says. Mr. Minh is studying with Japanese graduate students at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology since fall 2007.
