3-month internship in Nara Institute of Science and Technology-Japan is the great time for me, letting me many memorable experiences.
One of the most impressing thing for me is the working style of Japanese, extremely hardworking and disciplined, so I can understand why Japan is one of the leading industries in the world. I truly respect and admire the working spirit. Therefore, I have tried to learn and apply the way not only in my researching but also in my life. In the period working at NAIST, I had the opportunity to enhance knowledge in my field- polymer chemistry through researching and discussing with my supervisor and lab-mates, as well as approaching modern equipment one of which I have never used. This will much benefit to my academic career, making me be more confident to the success of next projects and my PhD course.
Besides, visiting some places in Japan and discovering culture, customs, cuisine there also gave me interesting experiences. I really like the sense of community and environment there as well as the healthy living style.
Finally, the opportunity to be attended Honda Prize Ceremony in Tokyo, received advices from Honda Leaders and discussed with Honda Awardees is the great thing to me. From that, I have more motivation to my chosen path in order to contribute to the development of Vietnam Science and Technology. Thank you very much again Honda Foundation for bringing to me the wonderful internship.
