The three months that I spent in Japan were probably the best time I’ve ever had. From the work environment to friends to tourism everything was more than I could ever imagine. I interned at the University of Tokyo. My lab mates and supervisors were very helpful and encouraging allowing me to pursue any ideas and work on it. I got to learn a lot and enjoyed the process of learning here. Tokyo is a city everyone should have on his or her bucket list. There are so many things to watch, experience, eat and learn here that it just can’t be completed in three months. Jump on the metro and get off anywhere in the city and you’ll find something memorable. From beaches to treks, Tokyo has everything. I would definitely like to go back to Japan someday because one just can’t get enough of this place.
