It is definitely a miracle for me to continue my postgraduate study in Japan as soon as I have earned a bachelor’s degree. My former plan was to have an internship for the application of Honda Y-E-S Plus. It became a life-changing milestone when I luckily passed all screening steps of the master entrance examination and 2020 MEXT Scholarship. I will never regret my choice to study at Kyoto University because of my enrollment at Global Center of Excellence (G-COE) program and unique features of Kyoto City. Since I first landed in Kyoto, I was fully impressed with its cultural vibes. I got a chance to stay at Yoshida International House and its dormitory moments are quite valuable. Moreover, the year “2020” was full of ups and downs for everyone. Here I also would like to mention my heartfelt gratitude to my host professor – Prof. Sugiura, Kyoto University, MEXT- Japan, the Embassy of Japan in Myanmar, Honda Foundation (HOF), Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni (MAJA), and everyone who kindly helped me to be here in time amidst of peak Covid-19 Cases in Myanmar. Although I have faced some uncomfortable conditions such as communication at first, I quickly managed to overcome them due to the great kindness of Japanese people. I strongly believe all those wonderful experiences in Japan will contribute to a better version of myself.
