I completed my internship at the Graduate School of Informatics, Nagoya University in February 2020. It was a thrilling experience for me to visit Japan in every aspect. I received the most humble welcome in Japan. My entire stay was all about exploring distinct places, paths, and cities along with technical learnings. I spent a wonderful time at Nagoya University. My experience in the Energy Efficient Computing lab under the guidance of Prof. Ishihara comprised of learning new tools, enhancing my technical and soft skills, and interaction with my lab mates. I enjoyed the project work I was assigned. Professors in my lab were very kind and helpful. I took part in brainstorming challenges and weekly team meetings. I am highly motivated to pursue research in my career after this experience. Being a travel enthusiast, I had plans to explore Japan in its true raw form. With the help of local people, I was successful in accomplishing them. I could travel to Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka and enjoy the New year's vacation, thanks to their jubilant nature. They tried to ease my endeavours in every possible manner, be it catching my buses, trains, or finding addresses, etc. They made sure I reach the place I wanted to visit. My favourite tourist destination was Odaiba in Tokyo. I experienced Japanese culture by visiting shrines and I could feel the tradition when I visited Fushimi Inari shrine in Kyoto. I also travelled in Nagoya to see the Science City Museum, Higashiyama Zoo and Botanical garden, Osu Kannon, and the famous Atsuta Shrine. I always admire the pace of technology in Japan. The glimpses of creativity could be observed in the daily products, stationery, electronic gadgets, and advertisements. Supermarkets were one of my favourite places to visit. I also got a gist of some common Japanese words and I loved speaking them. My impression of the Japanese people will always be a combination of politeness, punctuality and organization. I am honoured to receive the Y-E-S plus, which allowed me to explore myself in a very beautiful country. I thank the Honda Foundation to select me for this programme.
