I had a chance to participate in Furuichi & Associates (an architecture firm) which locates in Shinjuku, Tokyo. Everyday, my working time was from 9.30 am to 9pm. It was really an intensive working environment but the knowledge and experiences which I gained in this place were definitely deserved to my effort. My job was making models, creating the virtual 3D pictures and 2D drawings of Miyahata Museum in Fukushima. From there, I realized the importance of making model in architectural design as well as how Japanese architecture be successful due to the concentration in the detailed design. I also appreciated the help of Prof. Furuichi who showed me a lot of interesting ideas and the lectures during the design process. All of them lead me to a new cutting edge in architecture world. 

On the other hand, it should be deficient if I do not mention to Japanese culture in my experiences. Due to the busy of my work, I had to enjoy my daily lunch and dinner in some Japanese restaurants like Sukiya, Yonoshida or noodles restaurants. Honestly, the flavor of Japanese dishes made me falling in love. The nature and culture of Japan also attracted me a lot. I often spent my weekend in some gardens or the traditional places around Tokyo such as Shinjuku Gyoen garden, Takao mountain and Asakusa temple. The pictures of local people relaxing on the greensward, the sophisticated structure of Japanese temples, the elderlies and young people getting the hiking on Takao mountain, all of them created the Japanese identity in my mind. 

Overall, working in Japan was one of my most memorable periods in my life. I hope I could come back there in the near future.
