My stay in Japan was a greatly rewarding experience and this period of learning transcended the realms of university I worked at. The Japanese are an inspiring set of people, striving towards forging a successful and modern nation with due reverence towards their culture and past accomplishments. Their humility and hard-working nature serves as a great example for the rest of us. Despite the obvious language barrier, I was never made to feel like an outsider, receiving a lot of affection and assistance from everyone I came in touch with during this wonderful trip.
