I kept telling this to everyone in Japan and everyone back at home and I wish to reiterate the same “People in Japan are very kind, polite and helpful.” For me, this will remain, for sure, as one of the most lasting impressions about Japan. I found that, deep down, there are striking similarities between the Indian and the Japanese cultures and it was amazing to see the way the human values were upheld in the midst of the busy daily life of the people in Japan.
It is difficult to care for nature as one makes giant leaps in technology. And when I happened to see it Japan, at first, it was unbelievable for me. It presented a perfect picture of sound technological development. Also, I was surprised to see the precision in engineering, the elegance in the designs used and the efforts put in to maintain the infrastructure of the country.
If I had to be laconic about my experiences in Japan, I would say "Absolutely Fantastic!"
